“The Addams Family,” a musical, will be presented by Del Val in the auditorium, starting with a free senior-citizen preview on Thursday, March 2, at 5 p.m., followed by 7 p.m. performances on Fridays and Saturdays, March 3, 4, 10 and 11, plus a matinee on Saturday, March 4.

Admission costs $15. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at https://www.dvrhs.org/Domain/1207

The show stars Dakota Krouse and Julia Burchill as Gomez and Morticia Addams, and Swara Modi and Hannah Schwallie as their children, Wednesday and Pugsley. The plot centers on Wednesday’s romance with Lucas, an incongruously non-creepy boy played by Owen LaRue.

The Addams’ butler, Lurch, will be Will Gonzalez; and members of the extended family will be played by Atticus Fiorito as Uncle Fester, Grace DeLisle as Grandma, and Baylee Forman as Cousin Itt. Lucas’ parents are Holden Hutchinson and Jessica McGlothlin.

The ensemble of Addams Ancestors is played by Kacey Burd, Jocelyn Denne, Joaquin D’Orazio, Rakelle Felder, Mia Franzo, Vivian Hendricks, Briana Kraucheneus, Aidan O’Connell, Isabella Perez, Lila Pfefferle, Farrah Roberson, Michela Turton, Lily Brunelle, Nick Burinsky, Isabella Diaz, Abigail Drake, Avery Fitz, Rin Gatley, Audrey LaRue, Abigail Kuster, Ewan O’Connell, Gabriella Pfefferle, Josie Pitzner, Christian Shebchuk, and Maxim Verdicchio.

Mr. Ambs’ production team includes vocal director Adrian Comano, choreographer Heather Fleischman, set designer/builder Josh Paul, band director T.J. Hayden and business manager Carolyn Wolsiefer. Student personnel include assistant choreographer Kate Bach, dance captains Grace DeLisle and Dakota Krouse, and stage managers Kal El Fiorito and Lia McNamara.

Mr. Paul expressed gratitude for the student stagecrafters and construction professionals from the community who have stepped up to put together one of Del Val’s more demanding and ornate stage sets.
